Hey Hey! Happy New Year! (too late?)
We hope you had an amazing holiday season and we hope that 2022 has gotten off to a great start for you.
We took a rather unscheduled and unannounced break with the newsletter last December, but not to worry, we’re back!
As always, these newsletters will touch on topics we’ve had a conversation about on the podcast, sometimes with a bit more detail, and other times as a medium to prompt old questions and thoughts.
Enjoy the read and don’t forget to share!

What is the feeling that popped into your head right now?
For us, on most days, it is a slight mix of frustration, helplessness, and sometimes wonder.
We wonder about what is truly going on, how we got where we are today, why we have the "rulers" we have, and when things will take a turn for the better!
It’s been over a year now, but one paragraph will fail to do the #ENDSARS protests any justice, so we will not attempt to give a recap. All we will say is that if our generation ever needed a wake-up call, that was probably it.
But a wake-up call to what?
To hold our leaders more accountable? How?
To go out and vote during the next elections? Just that?
To dive into politics ourselves? Who’s ready?
From where we are all sitting, it does not look like one man can change this world; at least not from the top.
Is it possible that the practical steps to change our country may be to start where we can? To find the least difficult point of infiltration? To find the Achilles heel in the political structure that we can reach?
If that sounds like it. What is next?
What do you understand about “grassroots politics”?
Do you know who your local government chairman is?
Do you know who your councillor is?
Do you know what zone or ward you live in?
Do you know why it matters if you know?
