Alright, sarcasm aside, there's a high chance 1 of 2 people reading this have said the words āIām sorry for your lossā to someone at some point.
Even worse, thereās also a chance some of you reading this have had those words said to you, especially after the loss of a loved one.
Grief.
Grief is often not the topic of conversation on any random day.
But for those who experience it, it never truly leaves their minds, even on those random days.

The thing is when you lose someone close to you, your life and identity as you know it changes.
Thereās a new normal.
For one, you may unsuccessfully try to make sense of your tragedy while having to navigate the inevitable changes in your social environment.
Then there are the triggers, the reminders, and the regrets that can show up at your door unannounced.
The world at some point expects you to move on, reintegrate into society, and thatās justā¦well, you know, not as easy as itās made to seem.
